Mattel has said in a bulletin on their home-page [click customer service then type traction bands for a FAQ bulletin] that traction bands are not needed because they have a good tread design and they have great traction already. Not in tractionbands.com opinion and probably not yours if you are looking at these traction bands. They go on to say that use of traction bands have no relationship to gear boxes or electric motors going bad or getting damaged YAHOO !!

Seller offers no warrantee or extended warrantee for items sold. Traction Bands are a wear item like brakes or tires on a motor vehicle. There is no way to determine how long they will last. Glass particles; sharp shale etc. might have an effect on the rubber just like tires. In the extreme they may last one second or they could last as long as some of this sellers now going on four years and longer. The best way for long lasting results is to follow the included directions.

Items sold with insurance will be guaranteed by seller to arrive at designated address that is given to us by you the buyer. Arrival dates are verified with tracking software that the carrier, buyer and seller have access to. Seller will replace items if shipper has lost package.

Safety is of utmost importance. TractionBands.com suggests the use of a helmet while riding any power toy. All precautions for safe riding should be observed especially on roads and slopes of any kind. Parents are required by law to be responsible for the safe use of all riding equipment of their children. TractionBands.com will not be responsible for any accident or injury caused by the use or misuse of all our performance upgrades sold to include both adhesive/glue and rubber traction band products. Buyer will purchase only in acceptance of this agreement and agrees to hold TractionBands.com harmless of any such accident/ damage or injuries related or unrelated to the use or misuse of this item. No one under the age of 18 should operate any electrical or motorized ride on toy without the direct supervision of an adult. It is further agreed that TractionBands.com will not be responsible for any cause relating to the workmanship or manufacture of this product resulting in any kind of damage. Buyer accepts all responsibility of the product from the time it is turned over by the shipper. BE SAFE!! This is a performance modification. The bands and glue products will work great but again we stress we will not be held liable for any instance of harm/damage/personal injury incurred from the the adhesives or rubber traction band products.
